  • New Cafe & Renovated Informal Dining Spaces

  • Improved Flow Through Corridors & Public Spaces

  • Central Mail / Library Space


about the project:

This renovation transforms a dated, cool toned and institutional lobby, mail, and library space into an updated, warm, and homelike environment.

The formal dining space was also updated, and a brand new informal café and dining area were constructed to replace the existing outdated spaces.

The overall square footage of renovation totaled approximately 14,255 SF, and the construction occurred over several phases.

about the project:

Ground floor of a 3 story building, a portion of which previously housed the campus wellness center consisting of a swimming pool, small fitness gym, and billiards room. The remainder of the floor consists of a multi-purpose room for special events. An adult day care service program utilizes one wing of the ground floor.

Renovation included expanding and updating the Adult Day Services space, converting the swimming pool to a large recreation area complete with billiards, ping pong, and 2 state of the art shuffleboard courts. Also upgraded were the lobby, multi-purpose room, kitchen, and associated spaces. New windows were installed to improve energy efficiency and to create a more homelike appearance.
