Garden Spot Village "Garden Spot Village has worked with Cornerstone Design Architects on multiple projects and has found them to be a firm that lives out their values in every engagement. They are clearly interested in serving as an advisor and partner as they create design solutions that address the challenges of each project. We have found them to be very responsive to the customer, listening attentively and then creating buildings that are functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Dale Yoder’s passion for serving people through design is something that comes through clearly in each project. His skill as an architect, combined with his personal and professional integrity, makes Cornerstone Design an easy choice."
—Steve Lindsey, Chief Executive Officer
Multi-Properties, Inc. “Cornerstone gets “it.” They recognize the need to meet pro forma without compromising the integrity of design. The use of powerful architectural software truly contributes to the flow of the effort, allowing the client to actively participate in the process along the way. I find the Cornerstone team to be sensitive, and responsive while grounded in real world considerations. Dale Yoder demands no less.”
—Richard Hantgan, Senior Vice President
Shadow Lawn Enterprises, LLC “The team at Cornerstone put themselves in the developer’s shoes, striking the right balance between creativity and practicality to create truly appealing, yet highly functional space. Their attention to every detail, constant focus on our long-term ROI coupled with the application of cutting edge three dimensional facility modeling not only accelerated the entire code review and permitting process, but helped us avoid conflicts and confusion in the field. It was a pleasure to have them on our team.”
—Samuel R. Beiler, President & C.E.O.
Country Meadows Retirement Communities “Cornerstone brought to the table both experience and creativity in designing senior living communities. We were pleased with the unique features included in the addition. Today, cookie cutter approaches are out and attractive, eye-catching designs are in. It was apparent that the Cornerstone team was very experienced with the design-build process and helped the Country Meadows team achieve our expectations working with the architect and general contractor. We would be delighted to work with them again in the future.”
—Michael Leader, President & CEO
Landis Homes Retirement Community “Cornerstone took three buildings built in the 1960s and 70s that had an institutional feel to them and transformed them into something very current and gave them a home-like feel. It’s very green, and cost effective, to be able to reuse old, but sound, building structures rather than tearing them down. We extended the life of these buildings for another 15 to 20 years just by renovating. It takes more creativity to be able to change the exterior and interior of a building and give it a new, fresh look. It’s a dramatic improvement and we are very pleased with the results. Our residents and visitors can’t believe it’s the same building. We look forward to continue to work with Cornerstone. We have four more buildings we’re ready to renovate in the near future. Landis Homes is a more desirable place to live. Prospects come and see a home-like space, not a hotel or an institutional look.”
—Linford Good, Director Facilities Development
Parkesburg Mennonite Church “Thank you for the terrific job you did on the renovation and addition at Parkesburg Mennonite Church. You helped us define what we needed and put it down on paper for us to review. You were willing to listen to our questions and help us reach a design that worked. You were able to change the plans when the inspector changed his mind about the sprinkler system. We are very happy with the building design and it has performed well with zero problems.".
—Nelson Nafziger, Trustee
American Music Theatre “Cornerstone Design proved to be a true partner by carefully listening to our vision and integrating into the design the ideas we cultivated from visiting other venues around the country. The final result was a uniquely remarkable entertainment venue that consistently draws rave reviews from concertgoers and celebrity artists alike. Just like a great show, it all starts with the design. There is a reason American Music Theatre is called "Lancaster's Entertainment Showplace!".
—James D. Martin, General Manager and Co-owner

Bellevue Presbyterian Church “We had the wonderful privilege of working with Cornerstone Design-Architects in the planning of our recent remodeling and addition project. With a long list of needs and with just as many concerns about enhancing and not destroying the existing architectural integrity of our church building, we turned to Cornerstone for their counsel, help and, ultimately, for their professional design. A year after we have moved back into our completed building we still greatly appreciate the beauty of the design and the functionality of the building. Over the years of our association with Cornerstone, we came to appreciate not only their expertise and professionalism, but also the fine caliber of the individuals with whom we worked.”
—Reverend Bud Davies, Senior Pastor

They have provided innovative expertise, insight and the pursuit of value engineering to assure our project was within expected parameters of cost and delivery. The end result is a flagship residence facility on our campus. All of this effort is achieved under the most rigorous exercise of integrity on Cornerstone's part. We look forward to future projects with Dale and his team as a continuing part of our team.”
—John Zeswitz, Former Vice President Administration
Lancaster Mennonite Schools “Lancaster Mennonite School has used the design services of Dale Yoder and Cornerstone Design-Architects for several projects at Lancaster Mennonite High School and at the Locust Grove campus. We are pleased that the end product has met our needs and vision. The quality of design was possible because Cornerstone engaged in careful listening to the school's needs. In addition, they asked the kind of questions that enabled us to improve the educational specifications for each facility. Through this process Cornerstone understood our needs and vision and was able to design value engineered buildings that are enabling us to more fully meet student needs.”
—Richard Thomas, Superintendent of Lancaster Mennonite Schools (Lancaster Mennonite School-Main Campus, Locust Grove Mennonite School and New Danville Mennonite School)
West Chester United Methodist Church "This is the nicest church building I have ever seen!" a recent visitor said at one of our church services. Our building has been transformed into a church that is appreciated by not only the congregation, but the entire community. It has literally transformed the way we do ministry. Working with Cornerstone Design Architects was a pleasure from the beginning to the end. Their staff was open to the needs and input from the congregation, and yet offered critical suggestions. We will work with them on all future building projects.”
—Reverend John Schol, Senior Pastor
