Contractually, Cornerstone Design Architects will present a proposal and/or contract to a client, which in turn can be assigned to a contractor for one source responsibility for both the design and construction of your project. An authentic design/build approach utilizes a contractual agreement with the contractor, who in turn contracts with us, the Architect.

This partnership removes a common pitfall where projects meet the needs of the client but not the budget. The architectural fee is reduced since drawings can be streamlined and maintain the design intent. Not as much detail is required as in the design/bid approach.
