Warfel Construction has won a $1 million contract to build a new Turkey Hill Minit Market off Oregon Pike in the Worthington development. The 482 Royer Drive project will consist of a 3,800 square-foot store with 1,500 square feet of retail space for lease. Cornerstone Design-Architects designed the project. Completion is set for January.

Christian radio station WJTL-FM will soon be leaving its offices along Oregon Pike for new digs in East Hempfield Township. The station, which has been broadcasting from its offices and studio at 1525 Oregon Pike in Manheim township for over two decades, needs more space.

A neglected factory building on North Mulberry Street soon could become 27 apartments under plans approved by city officials last week.  Shadow Lawn Enterprises plans to extensively renovate 405 N. Mulberry St., a building previously owned by the Boys & Girls Club of Lancaster.

A business incubator at York College is expected to officially open in June and already has a client with a West Coast vibe. The idea of a business incubator at the college began as an extended vision of the school’s J.D. Brown Center for Entrepreneurship and will be one of a handful in the mid-state.
