Using FTP to Share Project Files

Please contact Cornerstone Design-Architects at 717.435.1800 if you are interested in sharing project files via FTP.
We will give you a username and password that will grant you FTP access and enable you to upload and download files.

If you already have your project username and password, simply login to ftp://ftp.cornerstonedesign.com.

You can add this link to your Bookmarks or Favorites for your future use. Please note that the first letters are
ftp:// and not http:// like you would type for accessing a website.

We will not be notified when you post a file, so if it is urgent that we respond quickly, please email or call your Cornerstone contact.

About FTP

FTP means File Transfer Protocol. It is a method used to transfer files over the Internet. Both FTP software and Internet Explorer
uses drag-and-drop functionality, so that it acts the same as your computer desktop.

Should you be disconnected: FTP Timeout means that you were idle for more then a few minutes and it disconnected you.
You may have to reconnect on your ftp client.

There are many different software programs you can download or buy for FTP. Here are a few links to some popular FTP programs,
some with free trials.

You can also use the browser Internet Explorer as an FTP agent. Click to see instructions.

Click here if using Internet Explorer 6

Please remember that FTP is not secure, so operate safely just as you would with your email communications. Please be cognizant of this when sharing files through FTP
and never post confidential or financial information that you would not email.

Please note that the Firefox browser does not enable FTP.
